Dear students! Welcome to the course "IT Business Start".

My name is Alyona Protasova, I'm an instructor of this course and a founder of a research agency Startupfairy.ru.

The aim of the course is very ambitious - to start a business from scratch and start calling yourself an entrepreneur. Not to try, not to simulate or learn in theory, but to start your own technological business. At the end of the course you will be able to call yourself an IT business owner.

What is important to know about this course before our class starts: this core course doesn't have any formal lecture part. At all. We will use the practice known as "flipped classroom" where student is preparing for the class at home, study all the necessary materials, read a lot and then join the class to discuss ideas and tools learnt. Coming to class unprepared or sitting in the classroom in silence means not getting the benefit of the class. Make your own decision - if you want the benefit and effect, you have to prepare regularly. 

So I would like to ask you to take the reading before the class starts (except the very first class): 1 reading per week. Then in class we will discuss the methods learnt and apply it to your business ideas. So our classes will be 100% practical aimed to help you to raise your idea into real business project.
